Story

A unique two-part zombie film.
The world laughed and cried over the behind-the-scenes drama!
Hilarious entertainment like you've never seen before.

A film crew arrives at an abandoned warehouse deep in the mountains to shoot a zombie film. Seeking "authenticity," the director keeps rejecting takes and they finally reach the 42nd take. Just then, real zombies appear, and the crew members are turned into zombies one by one. However, the director can’t be more excited and insists that they keep on shooting... Beginning with "One Cut of the Dead," a 37-minute, non-stop, one-take zombie film shot as a live TV show, then the credits, a new behind-the-scenes drama unfolds. There, it is revealed that the unnatural pauses, episodes that make no sense, and shots that go on for too long in the movie are all accidents that occurred during filming. You will be amazed at how ingeniously the plot is constructed. This seemingly splatter horror film, full of love for cinema and family, became an unprecedented hit in Japan as entertainment that makes you laugh and cry. It was released worldwide and even remade in France.
